A Very Special Letter

J Rogers
The Privateer #615 (Late October 2008) is an absolute masterpiece in clarity and understanding of a very complex world of events. I am very impressed. The clarity you provide is the best I have read in this entire worldwide "disaster".

I've just finished reading through your latest "Gold this week" pages and would like to convey my sincere appreciation to you for making such quality and learned information available to your subscribers. I signed up to receive your newsletters because of a desire to learn about the true nature of 'money'. You didn't disappoint - and have taken me on a fascinating journey over the years!

I just wanted to drop a quick line to say what an education I'm getting from you! Thank you so very much. I'm fairly new at this but I had read a fascinating 3 part article written by you from 'USGold' titled "An Educational Series on Gold and Money". It was absolutely phenomenal and should be a must read or taught in every school.

I can't tell you how much I sincerely appreciate the education I'm getting on how this world of finance & money (and gold) really works. I feel like it's a college degree with the little I've read so far. Without that sort of a background I find it hard to imagine how people invest without a good foundation beneath them first so I'm here to learn.

I am a relatively new subscriber/devotee to the Privateer and look forward every second Sunday to the newsletter. I am constantly quoting you and constantly bewildered how your research and reports seem about 3 weeks ahead of the every day financial press.

Keep up the great work. And thanks for the privilege of reading this sort of detailed worldly reporting. It puts the regular financial press to shame!!! Well done.

This ravenous and always satisfied reader of The Privateer cannot imagine ever doing without it in the remainder of this lifetime.

Always an engrossing ‘read’. Remember the issue – circa #320 and saved somewhere - in which you reviewed how the end of the Spanish Empire and the fall of the Bourbon monarchy were both due to bankruptcy? What a superb job that was, and my first inkling of the inevitability of our own coming economic national demise.

I marvel at your sources. What we imagine is taking place but do not read about here, sure enough you have reported in the next issue. You write the unspeakable, but always dispassionately. And thank goodness for that! We Americans are so ashamed of the behavior of this Bush administration.

The Privateer bolsters my convictions so I will surely never waiver on the course I have charted with its help. Gorgeous charts, simply gorgeous. Thank you.
